Only census I have ever seen him listed on is 1860 census in Independence Co, AR. He married Martha Lamberson Prince in early 1840's. I believe in TN. Martha was the daughter of James Lamberson 1780 NC and Mary Futrell (Feutrall) 1780 in North Hampton, NC. Someone posted that William and Martha Prince show up on an 1845 census or tax roll in Tippah Co, MS. But I have never seen that. William bought 40 acres of land 1 May 1860 in Batesville, AR. White River Township, 1860 Independence Co AR shows William Prince 47 farmer born in GA. Martha Lamberson Prince 35 born in NC. Children are William Prince 18 born in TN, Marey P 16(?) TN, Sarah S (Sally) Prince 11 born in TN, Virginia Prince 10 born in MS, Ferdinand 8 born in MS, Marth J. 7 born in MS, John T (mistakenly written as James T. 2 AR and Tennessee (Babe) Prince 7/12 months born in AR. 1870 census shows Marey Prince Scott with several small children in Big Bottom, AR Independence Co. Oldest brother William is missing but all of the remaining children are living with Marey in her house. There is a lady on the page before named Eliza Warren age 49 who is keeping house and not listed as part of the family living with them. Any info on William the father and William the son would be appreciated.
