New member - Russell Taylor

Question

Hi Everyone, my name is Russell Taylor, a 63 years young Scot living in Portugal. I have been researching my family tree for 10 years and am still finding out new facts about my family. I started more recently to research my wife's family and found out a few facts that no-one living knew, which is s great motivator. The main family names I am interested in are:

From Edinburgh;

Taylor, Tighe, Cairns, McAlpine, Corner, Hume, Wallace, Henderson.

From Plymouth and Camelford, Cornwall

Stott, Amy

From India/Pakistan:

Fernandez, Pereira.

I have Fernandes from India in my ex-husband's.  Family does not know how far back their Portuguese ancestor was, and I have had very little luck getting information.  Family doesn't even know details about their next generation up.  (I think I found out more than they have thus far told me.)
