Clan Munro USA disputes [[Munroe-10|William Munroe]] as a son of this person. They list William Munroe's parents as unknown based on their sources and a conflicting Y-DNA result.

The objections Clan Munro raises should be addressed within this profile somehow.

Robert Munro XXth (born abt. 1589) Laird of Foulis (18th Baron of Foulis) is not the same person as Robert Munro of Aldie (born abt. 1566). Robert Munro XXth had no sons, disputed or not. Robert Munro of Aldie did have sons, however, it is contested whether William was one.

Thanks Michael, that's a valuable tip about Robert of Foulis not having any sons.  I'll look for sources that identify his heirs, and that should resolve my issue with William Munroe of Lexington.
