I am trying to find proof that Lydia Cook is the daughter of Silias Cook and Sarah West.  Best I can find is that they had a daughter. Thanks if you can show me a reference.

It is a challenge to locate the birth information for Lydia Cook, but I did locate the following (via Ancestry Sharable Link) regarding some birth, baptism, etc... for a Lydia Cook with one that reflects her father as James Cook (though James could be his middle name).

Pennsylvania and New Jersey, Church and Town Records, 1669-2013:

U.S., Quaker Meeting Records, 1681-1935:

U.S., Quaker Meeting Records, 1681-1935:

Other than that... I couldn't locate any real source information. There's always a chance that she might have had a Middle Name/Nickname that was primarily used.

I hope this was helpful for you in some way and I do wish you the best of luck. :-)

Thanks so much for your help. I believe that is a different Lydia Cook from the 1800's. So hard to find information about women during early colonial America.
