Register at GEDmatch.com and follow GEDmatch’s instructions to load his AncestryDNA results there.  On your brother’s WikiTree profile, add his e-mail address in the e-mail address field.  WikiTree will then e-mail him an invitation to join WikiTree.  Have him accept that invitation.  He should change his WikiTree privacy level from “Private” to “Private with Public Biography and Family Tree.”  He should then add his GEDmatch ID to his DNA Tests page in WikiTree.

Then WikiTree will automatically associate his autosomal DNA and X chromosome with his relatives in WikiTree.

Living people have to add their own DNA information to WikiTree. Once he has created a profile here and added his Ancestry and GedMatch test information, he can then add you to his Trusted List and then make you the manager of his profile if he has no interest in being active.

This is what I did with my husband’s DNA test.

Hello Roz,

Congratulations on getting your brother’s AncestryDNA results into GEDmatch and his GEDmatch ID into WikiTree.  Here are some videos which show what you can now do: https://www.wikitree.com/g2g/1054650/how-does-help-you-register-gedmatch-your-gedmatch-wikitree

Here is a tool which allows you to get your brother’s rudimentary Y-DNA haplogroup using his AncestryDNA results https://www.wikitree.com/g2g/800267/are-you-a-male-who-has-tested-with-ancestrydna  In WikiTree, he can then select that he has taken an Other yDNA test and enter his Y haplogroup.  Within 24 hours, WikiTree will then associate his Y haplogroup with his direct paternal line.
