New member introducing myself

Hi, My name is Christine Ann, but my friends know me as Christy.  I hope to make a comprehensive record of my family tree, and if possible be able to provide my 92 year old parents with a copy before they pass on to greener pastures.  Unfortunately I recorded everything to-date in an 'xcell' file so I will be working the midnight oil. Any errors that I make, please let me know so I can correct asap. Looking forward to this journey... Cheer Christy ps if I want to share my info is 'Public' the best option?

Welcome to G2G. I am sure you will enjoy sharing your information here.

The different privacy levels are for you to choose. Living persons will always be blocked from being viewed by others. For the other profiles you can choose. If you choose Public, then other can view parts/all but not edit. That will limit the contributions others can make. Those profiles can also not be linked by others, so you need to make sure you will be around then to make the connection or allow others as profile managers.

For older profiles Public is no option, they need to be Open (White).
