I did find this from the US Census 1900 (but you may already have this info.)
"United States Census, 1900," index and images, FamilySearch (https://familysearch.org/pal:/MM9.1.1/M3R4-TW4 : accessed 03 Dec 2012), Caroline Carter in household of John Carter, ED 4 Buford Bridge Township Govan, Olar towns, Bamberg, South Carolina, United States; citing sheet 17B, family 331, NARA microfilm publication T623, FHL microfilm 1241517.
It shows Caroline Carter (age 29) living with her parents and her 5 sisters. There are also two boys listed as grandchildren of John and Sarah Carter and they may be Caroline's sons.
The next step would be to find out what Sarah's maiden name was (if you don't know).
I am assuming her married name is Carter and that Caroline is a Carter as well. You did not tell me otherwise, so that is what I am going with.
The profile you are referencing on wikitree cannot be your Sarah Carter because that Sarah is born 30 years after your Sarah, and was born and lived in Michigan.
If you give me more information I could try and help. You could send it as a private message under the other Sarah Carter's profile and I will do my best to get more information for you.
Information that would be helpful: Birthdate of Caroline, what state she was born in, maiden name and married name of Caroline, maiden and married name of Sarah, other childrens name (Caroline's siblings), who was Caroline's father. These things help because you can search in different ways and sometimes just switching information around causes new facts to pop up.
