Advice before editing this pre-1700 Maudlin / Modlin profile?

I have information to contribute to the profile of Edward Modlin. This is what I can add:

  • "Edward Moadle Sonn of Ezekeil Moadle And Hannah his Wife Was boorn 11 day of Feberuary 1695." Gene Modlin copied data from the image best I could based on Handwriting

These are the sources I am using:

  • Film/Digital Note: North Carolina Perquimans County, Birth, death, marriage records and a record of flesh brands and marks, 1659-1739, vital statistics index, 1913-1960 Births, deaths, marriages, flesh marks and brands 1659-1739
  • Film # 007551421 Image 44 of 105
  • Pg 43 Lines 3 & 4
  • I didn't see a link to North Carolina Perquimans County, Did I miss it?

Should I contact one of the pre-1700 projects or know about any style guidelines before proceeding? Thank you!

It looks like T Stanton already added your source.   I'm an 8th Great Grandson of Edward Modlin.   I'm of the Mauldin side of the family but would love to compare DNA with you.   Have you ever considered Y-DNA testing for the Modlin family?  That will give us all some much added information and only someone with Surname Modlin will be able to assist in this search.    DOUGLAS
