Managers of both profiles myself and B Hesjedal have registered our approval to this merge. I get the message   "You can complete this merge after a final comparison."  but I am NOT able to complete the merge. I assume because the other profile one I am not the manager of is fully locked red private. Do I have to be added to the trusted list of the other profile?  B Hesjedal has not been active on WikiTree since May if that has any effect.

Thank You

[[Scott-27771]] and Scott-21761 appear to represent the same person because: There is no Earle Scott in the Robert and Louisa Scott family. He is the first husband of Jean (Dorothy Jean Scott). After his death she married Ernest Wick.

This is because https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Scott-21761 is a private/locked profile.

The merge can only be completed by that PM (https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Hesjedal-6).

The only way you can complete it yourself is if you submit a request to be added to the Trusted List via the Scott-21761 profile.

I hope I was able to explain this okay via text...

Good Luck! :-)

Thank You I have send them another message about this merge.

The merge has both of our approvals noted

Approval from Jennifer Turner for Scott-27771 has been recorded.
Approval from B Hesjedal for Scott-21761 has been recorded.

Why is it sitting stalled? She initiated it in May. I registered my approval in October. She shows no activity since May and has not replied to private messages.

Help!!!!

I had just posted a comment for B Hesjedal within the profile of https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Scott-21761 .

I had briefly explained this situation and the only way to complete the merge process that requires his opening up the restricted profile.

The only other suggestion/recommendation I can provide you with is to please be a bit patient (just a few weeks or so) to await his response/action.

If nothing happens, the last option for you is to report this to the WikiTree Administrator as a non-responsive PM.

Good Luck! :-)
