That is what my research indicates.  What I can not confirm is whether Deville married Marie Darbouze or Perette Lacaille.

I believe Deville Leger married Marie Darbouze They had one son Louis.Jacques dit Larosette direct line.

Deville's Son (Louis) Louys married Perette Lacaille and had 6 children Adrien, Carolus, Symphorien, Gabriel and two others. These is in the Jacques dit Larosette direct line .

Hi Simone,

The parents of Jacques Léger, my 7th great-grandfather, are not known. No records have been found yet that prove his parentage. Stephen White in the Dictionnaire généalogique des familles acadiennes does not give his parents’ names.
