Has anyone notices a virus floating thru the surname indices?

've notice pop-ups where they don't belong & several pages are messed up.  There's a virus or bug of some kind in the surnames. How do we fix it before everything becomes infecte?

I'll leave this unanswered to see if anyone else is experiencing this. I certainly hope not.

My first guess is that Sheri has some malware on her computer. :-(
No problem here. I would have to agree on the Malware. there are several free anti spyware and anti-virus programs available for download.
I think the problem needs to be better specified. That is, could screen shots be made to illustrate the problem? Can other computers be used to isolate the problem? Can other web browsers be tried? Where do pop-ups belong? That is, the term pop-up almost by definition implies, "doesn't belong."

Also no problems here, not on Mac, PC or smartphone.

Perhaps an installed toolbar? Have you tried different browsers?

Same here.  As Chris and Paul already suggested, I think Sheri does have a virus/malware problem, but on her PC, not on WikiTree's servers.
