Loving the new ID snipper! Great green scissors!

I just noticed!  How long have they been available?  

This idea  is a great improvement over trying to select the Wiki ID out of the URL.  But i can't quite get them to stay in my clipboard.  I get the previous item...what am i doing wrong?
