Shared Photo: William Proctor Brash - Champion Cyclist

+3 votes

Apparently, my great uncle was a champion cyclist who was fined by the police in Lancaster in 1897 (age 22) for "furiously cycling down the highway." The police described him as an "imbecile" for not understanding the charges. More likely he was being ornery for being stopped on a good training ride. [[conway-3024|Anna Conway Strutt]].

I wanted to share this family photo of William Brash with the community. Location: Lancaster, Lancashire, England. Date: unknown.
