how do I remove myself as a profile manager when there is no other profile manager ?

+8 votes

I was made Profile Manager for all of the profiles enter by someone who has since closed their account with Wikitree after requesting I be made Profile Manager on just one of her profiles.  I have removed myself from most of them, but 67 remain as they do not have any other Profile Manager except me.  None of them have any sources entered.
How do I dis-associate myself from these profiles as they hold no interest to me whatsoever and I did not agree to be the profile manager on any of them.  It is very frustrating to be linked to them as I have no interest in any of them and do not enter any information unless I have reliable sources.

Here is the list

thanks in advance, Lesley

For each profile, select the "Privacy" tab, then scroll down and select the "Remove Yourself" button. The page will then go back to the main profile page and you'll see that your removed.

I hope I had explained this okay via text... :-)

Good Luck!

You want to review the Bulk Watchlist / Trusted List Help page to reduce your watchlist from multiple profiles at one time. You can select a lot of profiles at one time, instead of having to do it one profile at a time.
