Robert Waterman: PGM?

Robert Waterman of Marshfield appears in Anderson's "Great Migration Directory", shown as having arrived by 1638; this is in accord with the date offered in James Savage's "Genealogical Dictionary".

While I have found no evidence that he was a brother of the earlier-arriving Richard Waterman of Providence (as had been shown via the unsupported linkage of both with Thomas Waterman and Lydia Chadwick as their parents), Robert clearly should -- like Richard -- come under the oversight of the PGM Project.

I agree. And The narrative bio is excellent. But it is hard to confirm the key sources discussed in the bio because they are not entered as footnotes, and the footnotes that are used farther down are not accessible.
I'm concerned that the biography, or at least significant parts of it, give the appearance of being taken directly from a preexisting narrative.  If Robert is, as I expect, brought into the fold of the PGM Project, I'll spend some time on ascertaining whether that's the case... and redrafting the bio as needed.
Christopher, Now the real work begins. If you want some help, let me know. Robert's Son Thomas marries the sister of one of my ancestors, so I am connected if not a descendent :)
Just wondering what the status of this is please? Thanks.
Jillaine, back in October I overhauled the narrative extensively as promised; it's there in the Changes.
Awesome; so then, can we close this thread?
I think so, the profile looks very good.
Fine by me.  Glad you ditched the Ancestry & co. sources.  I often tend to leave them alone for the time being in hopes of not further irritating any PM who may be attached to them, and whose Bio work I may just have overridden.  But then I usually don't remember to go back later....

There's some indication that this Robert Waterman had a brother (or possibly cousin) named Thomas Waterman. The latter married a Mary Bird in Bishop's Stortford in 1624, but his family was from Great Leighs in Essex.

The Disputed origins section of Robert Waterman’s profile makes a strong case for not attaching Thomas Waterman as either Father or Brother. Has new evidence been found?
