Is there a way to quantify brickwalls for a surname?

Is there a method or an app to count, and perhaps list, the number of profiles of a given surname with ancestors?

My reason for wanting this is for generating and measuring statistics in a One Name Study.  In this case, the quantity reveals how many separate/unique lines there are for a given surname, and provides a list to profiles that are in need of help getting them connected to their ancestors.

I would be interested in seeing any methods or apps others have for gathering data/statistics for one name studies.

I have seen people use categories for this:

https://www.wikitree.com/g2g/656175/can-i-use-a-on-name-study-project-to-collect-heads-of-lines

Those examples use "End of Line" or "Head of Line", which I personally don't like, since there is no end to the line -- just an brick wall hoping to be knowcked down. A lot of one-name studies also used "brick wall" in this category name:

Unfortunately, that is a 100% manual approach to identifying the brick walls.

Scroll down to Brick Wall Ancestors. It needs a separate login, use your wikitree login to access.

Unfortunately that only works for my ancestors. I want all the Rowland brick walls for Rowland surname — not just my Rowland line.
If I understand what you want, you want all profiles of a particular surname whose father's field is blank.

Is that correct?
Yes - the quantity and the list
I have sent an e-mail to Aleš asking if such a report can be configured.
Thanks Tommy.  I think this would be desired/welcomed by every One-Name Study.

Have you experimented with the WikiTree + search text? You might find something that helps. You can use LNAB and current last name and things like connected, unconnected, unlinked.
