Information sources for Curacao in 1800 +/-20yrs

Question

I'm wanting to research an (Irish origin) plantation owner/civil servant known to be in Curacao in 1800. I have some biographical sources from the Dutch Archives and UK National Archives but want to explore plantation ownership, residences, slave ownership and professional life as a customs and excise man. I'd be really appreciative of any pointers.

The slave and emancipation registers of Curaçao were digitized this year. They were kept from 1839 till 1863 but can still contain information about your 3rd GG.

The normal civil registration is also online.

PS. Everything is in Dutch, as Curaçao was a Dutch colony and it's still part of the Kingdom of the Netherlands.

Many thanks for this Koen. I'll check these registers. Some of the other dutch sources are also in dutch (why not?) so I'm quite used to my dutch friends sitting in with me. It just adds another interesting dimension to this life.
