Profile Manager not responding

Question

I need to do a merge on my 2nd gr grandma [[Johnson-87929]]  with a profile that was added in 2016 from a downloaded family tree [[Knight-892]].  The profile manager has not had any activity since 2017.    I sent her a request explaining the issue and requesting to be put on the trusted list, but I have not heard back and I just have a feeling I won't.

How can I get on the trusted list to merge the two profiles?

First you need to propose the merge and give reasons. Then wait 30 days for manager to respond, before it gets default approval.

Thanks, Marion, but I've hunted and don't find where to propose the merge.  I sent her a message explaining, but when I check my pending merges, it says there are none.  Where do you find the "propose merge?"

I hope someone can give me directions, because I'm gettIng extremely frustrated.

The location to propose the merge is down on the bottom left of either profile.  I just proposed the merge and if the other PM does not  respond it will receive default approval in 30 days.

I will hunt again for that propose merge at the bottom of the profile.  Maybe it says something different?

Go to your great grandmother's page and scroll down to almost the bottom. You will see Matches and Merges and under that you will see "Pending merges" and your merge proposal is showing there. I hope this helps.
