What is correct spelling for Sobibor when used as a category name?

+5 votes
I'm about to create a subcategory of Holocaust for an extermination camp named Sobibor.  The actual spelling itself is not the question - it's the language markings.  My sources spell it with an accent on the last "o".  Do I name the category with or without that accent?

Even though I still feel like a newbie here, I'm going to take a shot at this. I believe you want to use the accent on the last "o". I see categories out there with lots of diacritical marks, consistent with the category usage guidance on non-English place names.

For example, there's Category: Magyarország (Hungary).

THANX for coming through for me on this, Rose!!!!!  That is EXACTLY what I needed to hear - how it is being done here.

Yay! I'm glad to help this project in any way I can, short of, you know, actually doing the hard work. smiley
