Is there any way to delete a CATEGORY?

Question

I created a category but due to a copy/paste error it was named incorrectly.

The USS Tinosa was built in 1959 but I mistakenly added a "World War II" on the end of her category... I have since created the correct category but Tinosa was never in WWII so this category should be deleted.

What do I do or who do I contact?
