http://www.ncgenweb.us/ncgranville/marriage/mar-reg1867-wxyz.htm ) for Granville County Marriage Records: Royal and Margaret Wilkerson, parents of Peter Wilkerson who married Viney Eaks, daughter of Bevily and Abbie Eaks on January 19, 1868 in Granville County, NC.
Also, on FamilySearch (
https://familysearch.org/pal:/MM9.1.1/M4BF-91R ) I find an 1850 U.S. Census in Person County, NC: Royal Wilkerson (c.1804), probable wife Margaret, and children Levy, Joseph F., Robert, Leathy B., Richard, William, Peter, Frances, Parthenia, and and Elizabeth.
That's all I have for you - it gets very muddy the farther back I attempt to go.
