American Revolution Category - Provided Beef [closed]

Working through my suggestions, I have a number of profiles that are categorized "American Revolution" which is a high-level category that should not be used on individual profiles. So I thought, let's see what I can find out about these folks in order to give them the right category...

Well, this guy (attached), has a DAR record that indicates his service during the war was "providing beef." I assume that means he qualified for service because he fed the troops.

A review of the subcategories of American Revolution reveals no appropriate category for this one. Could the various projects involved please advise how I need to fix this guy's category?

Many thanks.

Thank you.

1776 Sticker Help Page has examples, which include Patriotic, but that is not included in the Category Builder icon, and Natalie posted the sticker below with 'Patriotic Service', not just 'Patriotic', so the page may need to be changed.

Someone has to let Templates project know that then. They are the only ones who can fix that page.
Message sent!!
I corrected the example.

If he provided beef, then the DAR record should include "Patriotic Service"  If so, then the Patriotic Service subcategory is appropriate.  The format is

Patriotic_Service,_American_Revolution

or

Patriotic_Service,_STATE,_American_Revolution

Thanks, Ron.

WikiTree doesn't recognize "Patriotic_Service_American_Revolution" as a category. I added it to his profile, but it comes up red.

I tried both with and without the state.
It works for me.  I use the category adder drop down box, and after entering "Patriotic" it gives me a list to choose from.
I found that they all need to end with the 'comma' before American Revolution using the Category builder.

{{1776 Sticker|unit=Patriotic_Service,_Virginia,_American_Revolution}}

Natalie, it still looks wrong; can you please take a look?
And here's another example where the sticker appears to be right, but it's placing the high-level American Revolution category and generating an error:

I did what I could with Devoe-100. Hope that helps.
1776 Sticker page hasn't been changed from Patriotic to Patriotic Service.
I just added the DAR template and info.

My previous comments regarding category, I was referring to using the drop-down category selection tool.  I have found using the sticker to add the category to be quite awkward.
