George Wyscarver (Wisecarver) was born on 11 Aug 1756 in Frederick, Virginia to John Wisecarver and Salome Schnepp (Snapp).  He married Anna Catherine Orndorff about 1795 in Frederick, Virginia.  Children:  Elizabeth, Isaac, Joseph, Samuel, Margaret, John, George Washington, Jacob, Sarah.  He died on 25 Mar 1842 in Whitely, Greene, Pennsylvania.

Samuel Wisecarver, born 1795 Pennsylvania, died 2 Feb 1896 (aged 100–101), Grinnell, Poweshiek County, Iowa
