No not really I know she was born February 11,1845 her full name as I have it is Semiramis Newsome Chaplain.
In the stories I have read or been told he came across this young teenage Indian and more or less took her they Wed in December 23,1866 on the marriage certificate, but the marriage wasn't recorded until April 13th 1878.
James had a 2nd wife Elizabeth Rebecca Lindsey.....in most of the records they have all the children listed under her because most people didn't know about the Indian woman.
