How do I share profiles to WT members and others?

I just came across this at the end of a profile (Hill-40490) <<If you have sourced information about Elizabeth, the WikiTree community thanks you in advance for not leaving here without sharing it.>> How do I do this? I have yet to share of facebook or Google or Cousin Bait. Do I have to do all three, as well as for the WT community?

NO not at all. None of that is required.

IF you have any further details to share then WT will be grateful if you added it to the appropriate profile. But again, you do not have to do that.

Otherwise there is NO requirement to share WT with anyone, or do the cousin bait, etc etc.

But it would be helpful to DO facebook and cousin bait to possibly get more info for my family tree.

Hi Chris,

I think there's two different things being talked about. The message you have quoted is there to encourage anyone visiting a profile to add information they have about the person. That can be done by leaving a comment, memory or editing the profile itself.

As far as sharing to social media and sharing the links for profiles with interested family members, that is encouraged but of course, completely optional.

Hope that helps!
