automatic correction option has me puzzled [closed]

wondering about the option to Removing spaces (TABulator to space, multi space to single) in the automatic corrections, why is this there?  Seems to reduce double space to single space between sentences, which is frankly an editing option preferred by many.  Standards vary as to the proper way of writing.

Tabulators can't be written in the bio. They can come in only by pasting text or from gedcom import. And tab complicates parsing of the bio.

Double spaces are also not displayed in HTML by definition, so there is no need to write more than one. Double spaces also complicate computer parsing of the bio. so a template to match a space in the bio like template name, category,... For instance  instead of simple "{{Dutch Roots" I have to search for pattern "{{/s*Dutch[/s_]*Roots/s*" It makes programing much more complex and unreadable.

Hi Ales, you'll have to define Tabulator for me, as I'm not conversant with all the computer lingo.

This was not about any template, any of those in bios are per approved format.  When writing text as now, between sentences one puts 2 spaces instead of one, which makes the text clearer.  Don't see why it would be a problem, a space is a space and I presume has its own code in computerese.
Tab key is used for aligning things in text. At least it used to be. In HTML it is obsolete, but in programs like Word it can still be used. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tab_key

I really hate seeing Multiple spaces. I know I also make them when writing a text and this is an easy way to check for them and remove them. You can always unselect that correction.
ah, ok, never use the tab key myself, so that isn't an issue for me.  I have been unselecting this when doing PRDH updates, which I find extremely useful, and thanks again for setting that one up.
