Hoping to contact anyone who has information about Blum/Walton/Johnson families from Seymour, Vic. pre-1866.

Question

Peter Blum migrated to Melbourne in 1857 from Rotterdam, Netherlands.

His parents as listed on his 1866 Wedding Certificate are Hugh Blum and Dortje Van Wingerden(sp?). Peter identified as Dutch, but the Blum male origins were probably German.

No-one has ever been able to determine Peter's Dutch/German origins.

His mother-in-law Sarah Ann (Johnson) Walton?/Smith claims to have been born in "Victoria" @1836. No information is known about the Johnson family other than Sarah's parents' names as stated on her Wedding Certificate, William Henry Johnson and Sarah Ann (possibly Mary Ann?) Johnson.

Sarah Ann Johnson Junior's first husband (perhaps not officially married?) was named as George Walton, who supposedly died in 1856. No details are known about George Walton other than the family name and supposed year of death. No death registration has been found.

I'm sure we are hoping that you've already made some profiles (for the people referred to in your question). Could you add to your question by reference to those profiles?
It is as easy as clicking on the "ID icon" (that appears beside the person's name on the profile) to copy their reference ID; and then pasting that into your message.

If you haven't yet created profiles for these people, would you be able to cite the info you have found already (that is could you say what actual records you have to rely on)? This might be a tad more complicated.

If you could do that, then it will help.
