Are there a procedures or rules about adding headstone photos.

These are photos that I have taken in various states and cemeteries that correspond to profiles that I have written. Some (maybe most) were added to Find A Grave in the past. I assume that does not over-ride my right to add them here. I know a lot of photos are just copied and put in other locations but just want to check on policies here. I also know there is a cemeteries project and had a look but it seems way over my head and amount of time investigate its use. I would put information about the cemetery location in each profile that I add a photo to so folks can investigate further if they want. Thanks.

If you took the photograph, it is yours to post wherever you wish, as many times as you wish.
That it has / they have been previously posted elsewhere does not negate your copyright "ownership" of the image/s.
That's what I thought, thanks for the quick reply.

I post mine as part of the Global Cemeteries Project.
I usually write "Tombstone photo added by photographer" for the proof item.
Also please make sure that when you add it, that it is marked as a "source" not as "photo"

Cherry,
Add the tombstone photo to the images section of the profile. Also on the profile add the category for the cemetery. That will put the name of the person in the profile into the cemetery.
