One day when im at a computer with a printer hopefully I can print it all out. I only need documentation of my fathers birth and I cant seem to find what links John Puttenham of Eddlesborough to Henry his father and Richard.  The link provided goes to Norman Graham's article on the family. I believe this disproves the previous works of Andrew Moriarty and Mr Woodman.

I have some Puttenhams in my tree, did you look?  From the time period of arrival to Massachusetts and back is mostly the work of my cousins and great aunt and were copied to me via many sheets of charts sent to me by usps.  We're talking over a lifetime of work and research.

Yes but as far as I can tell Norman Graham disproves the line through Sir Roger de Puttenham son Richard. However unless im missing something I can not find any information or records of John Puttenham being the father of Richard Puttenham of Eddlesborough and Woughton. I also can not find solid proof of who the parents of John Puttenham of Eddlesborough are.
It doesn't appear that my tree is also your tree.  I've found that the names of the wives are just as important, since so many people re-use the same male names.  I can't identify a family just off the father's name, it takes two to make a child
