Issue with citation

For some reason I am unable to cite in my biography to get a numbered source.  I am using <ref>.....</ref> and it isn't working. Is anyone else having this issue?

If you are referring to Jenkinson-231, the reason the numbered citations are not showing is because the profile is missing the line "<references />", which should be immediately below the line "== Sources ==".
