Lost file.created relocate.

Question

I have created an  Id 8578 and is lost and needs to be relocated in the correct place my  ID is 32422 and needs placing above Louisa Rixon.

You can search in your contributions list for the additions you made. An ID has the name + a number.

If you know which is Louisa Rixon you can connect the two. "Above" is a bit unclear to me, but you maybe mean it is a parent to her?

Check your Watchlist.  That is an item in the Menu under My Wikitree.  That will give you a list of the profiles that you mange or are on Trusted List for.  The most recently edited profiles are at the top of the list, but you can sort it by one of the other options listed.

It looks likes Louisa Rixon is Rixon-307 (b 1844 Moulton, England, d Dec 1937)and she married someone named Stevenson since she is attached to children with the last name of Stevenson.

But there could be a problem.  Louisa's children were born 1882 - 1899. That sounds like there is a generation missing between Louisa and the children, or she started having children when she was 38 years of age and continued until she was at least 55, which is much later than normal.

Is George Stevenson-8578, (b 1864, d 1930) supposed to be the father of her children, but not necessarily married to Louisa?

There are 2 children named George Edward Samuel Stevenson as children of Louisa with different date.

The Birth sources for the children do not have a maiden name for Louisa.

1901 Census in Earls Barton, Northamptonshire, England is mentioned in these profiles.  That has George and Louisa Stevenson with the linked children, states that Both of them are age 39, which means they were born in 1862, so Louisa 'Rixon' is not the correct mother or not correct birthdate.

To add George Stevenson-8578 to each of the children, you can go to one of the children attached to Louise.  Go into Edit mode of that child, On the top of the right column, select Add father, in the box at the top enter Stevenson-8578. If you scroll to the bottom of the page 'without selecting the GO' button, you will find that Louisa Rixon is listed at the bottom with a checkmark to indicate that Louisa and George should be connected as a spouse.  The dates for Louisa are incorrect as the mother of these children, though.

You can then select the Add Father of <the child> button.

You can then select a different child, ie sibling, and repeat the process. Until all the children are connected to the same father, those only connected to Louise will show as 'half', which will help you to know which ones were done previously.

sorry for the delay replying to your message. Louisa 's Maiden name was Rixon and she Married George Stevenson. He is my Great Grandfather, However he does'nt Appear on my tree above Louisa indicating a marriage this is the problem that I am struggling with to locate him on the tree. There is an issue with Louisa's age her profile states that she was born in 1844. Thus making her 20 years older than her husband but on a census she is the same age as her Husband. I think I can explain this we have an old Photo of her which my Father wrote born in 1844 I have taken this for genuine however records show as different I do have the right person and I will amend the Profile error.Many Thanks for your help.

There are a few George Stevenson currently set up with merges needed since a few got set up. Once the merges are completed, I think he will be connected.

Census age is consistent in those that I found, but remember that there can always be other people with the same name in the same location. 20 years is also a generation difference, So could be a Louise that is married to a child, nephew, uncle or non relative that matches the age.

Remember that Sources is the important part to try to find to connect the profiles to the correct information. Many people have family stories passed down, but when they find the actual sources, the Information might be a little different.
