Dead End Summary

+1 vote
It would be awesome to have something to see dead ends in our tree. I forget where i got stumped and having something that changes as the tree does, since I am not the only one doing my tree, would be awesome.

Also, when new merges occur that tie in MORE ancestors it would be great to know that too!

Basically, a place to see where my tree cuts off and to be alerted when the tree is extended.

Hi Lindsay,

I think there's a lot we could do in the area of making automatic research suggestions and highlighting missing or conflicting information. Some of the guys have been doing this offline with GEDCOM analysis tools.

I'm not sure when we'll be able to develop on the site. We've got a lot on our plate right now. GEDmatches is the big thing in development right now.
