Royal Navy Sticker

Question

I'm a little confused about how to find and use stickers. The Help page didn't help. Specifically I wanted to see if there was a British Royal Navy Sticker.  Thanks!

There might be a Veteran Recognition sticker you could use, but I am unsure of the parameters you would need.

For my Mum's service in the WAAAF, I used an occupation sticker.  You could do the same :

{{Occupation|image=Military_Badges_and_Insignia-2.jpg|text=served in the Royal Navy}}  You could add the years of service after where I have "Royal Navy".  The image here is for the Royal navy.

Having given this advice, I now find I was in error - at least so far as the use of the image Military_Badges_and_Insignia-2.jpg is concerned.

In researching an Admiral of the Royal Navy in order to add a succession box to his profile, I found that the image of the logo for the RN is under British Crown copyright, and is not free to use.

Argument could be made for it being under Fair Use, but not without a disclaimer.  Currently no such disclaimer is attached to the image.

I have uploaded (because I couldn't find one already on WT) a copy of the public domain Naval Ensign, that is free to use. 

I would recommend not using the Military_Badges_and_Insignia-2.jpg image until something is resolved regards its status as either permission given, or being under Fair Use.

I apologise to anyone who followed my earlier advice and used the non-free image.

Happy to be of help, if it was just the ensign you meant.  If it's something a little more "square" (its actually taller than it is broad) that slightly better fits the sticker, I've just added this one (ADWP2-169.png) which is based on the one that is Crown Copyrighted:
