Can I add my FAN club people?

I have a lot of people in my FAN club.  They are not relatives but close friends of ancestors in the past.  Can I add them to WikiTree or can I only add my ancestors with a connection to me?   Thank you!

You can add any deceased person as long as you have proper sources.
