Trying to verify info on J. Willis Kuykendall, my great grandfather.

Question

This is Edward Lantz Kuykendall B1954. I have been trying to research my great grandfather for years now. His name was J. (John or James maybe) Willis Kuykendall, B1849? D1899?. He married Ellen Cooper B1861 D1945 in 1885 in Warren Co. Mississippi. They had 4 children; Edward Lee Kuykendall B1886 D1946 Columbus, Mississippi(my grandfather), Beulah Kuykendall Bryant Richardson B1887 D1960 Albany, Loisiana, Charles Neil Kuykendall B1889 D1954 Parchman, Mississippi, and Mae Kuykendall Sloan B1895 D1963 Independence, Louisiana. I know for sure through obits that Ellen is my Great grandmother. However I can not find anything definitive about Willis. Any assistance you can give me is appreciated. Our records contain a Willis KUYKENDALL (3rd cousin, 3 times removed) that was born abt 1861 in Manchester, Coffee County, Tennessee.  He passed away about 1900 and we don't have a site.  He married Gabriela Ellen COOPER on Aug 29, 1885. Her info: b. May 12, 1862 in Ponchatoula, Tangipahoa, Louisiana and passed away on Oct 16, 1945 in New Orleans, Orleans Parish, Louisiana.

Willis & Gabriela had 4 children: Beulah Francis KUYKENDALL 1867-1960, Edward Lee KUYKENDALL 1887-1946, Charles Neal KUYKENDALL 1888-1954 and May KUYKENDALL 1895-1963.

It has been a long time since I've done any work on the KUYKENDALL branch of our family tree and I'm sure the sources for this Willis & Gabriela were not added when they and their children were added.  Maybe there is something that might at least give you another place to look.
