Is there primary source documentation for the birth of the son Richard Braswell perhaps erroneously attached here in Georgia?

Richard Braswell-360 (c.1732-1799) had a son, Richard Braswell-1437 (about 1759 Orange County, NC.-1842 Arkansas) who married Jemima White in 1780. Not a primary source: The Ancestry of David Braswell by Carey Braswell, printed 2011 page 62. In any case, there are two Richards listed as sons of Obedience Snow-661, wife of Braswell-360.

There are no primary sources for some of these Braswell profiles because they were burned in a courthouse fire, I think, or just not found.

Does Carey Bracewell's work cite his sources ?  It may be that his book would be acceptable for this post 1700 profile.  It really depends on the evidence he has to support the relationship.

When there are sources he cites them. The DNA lineages are proposed, author Carey Bracewell says. He and his team worked for years and some of their conclusions are conjecture.

So that supports that Richard Braswell b 1759 is the son of Richard and Obedience Braswell.  When was Richard (the father) born ?  The profile gives his birthdate as 1732.  Looks like there may be some confusion between a Richard Braswell b 1759 and a Richard Bracewell b 1766 ?

There are two Richard Braswells listed as sons of Obedience: the wrong one is Richard Bracewell b 1766. The correct one is Richard Braswell b 1759. Since Obedience's husband's profile is Project Protected, their children are not properly connected to both parents. Thank you very much.
