Rev war stickers

I've got several ancestors who participated in the Revolutionary War.  Can I give them a sticker without being a member of the 1776 project?  I looked at 'stickers' but I don't have a clue what they're talking about with levels or any of the rest of it.

I do have military records, such as they are, from online sources, such as pension indexes and military enlistment documents.

Yes, you can add stickers as follows:

{{1776 Sticker|unit Massachusetts|rank= Private}} ... performed Colonist Military Service in the American Revolution

{{1776 Sticker|unit=Loyalist}} ... was a Loyalist in the American Revolution.

{{1776 Sticker|unit=Patriotic}} ... performed Patriotic Service in the American Revolution such as providing supplies or services to the colonists.

{{1776 Sticker|unit=Civil Service}} ... performed Civil Service in the American Revolution such as servicing on a jury or signing an oath.

Thanks, Kitty.  Do I just type that in the sources or bio section and the sticker appears?
