WikiTree profile: Martha Gladkowski
in Genealogy Help by Barbara Price G2G Crew (920 points)

This page In the FamilySearch Wiki has some recommendations for PolIsh research. It is important to know where in Poland she came from. The Wiki provides guidance on how to find the town or village. A complication is that the Polish place name written in American records may be a garbled version of the actual place name. Records could be in Polish, German, Russian, or Yiddish, depending on location, time period, and religion.
