If you think the information on his profile is wrong, I suggest you try contacting the profile manager. Otherwise, if the profile is open, you can add information and sources.

I agree with Marion. I looked at the profile for Robert Lucien Sabin where you left a message. Is this your father? The profile manager has not been active on WikiTree for a couple of years. I do not see how you could do any harm and might actually be doing much good to improve that profile by adding sources and information. If you haven't already, request to be placed on the Trusted List (link is on the right hand side of his profile.) Maybe that will alert the current profile manager (along with the note you left) that you are interested in this profile. Should you never hear back from the profile manager, it is important that you have sent that Trusted List request before you take the more drastic step of filing an "unresponsive manager" request.

The Robert Lucien Sabin profile is Open, so you can add your content to it without needing to ask permission. Since you say the existing information is accurate, but incomplete, you can add to the profile (and rewrite the information in sentences and paragraphs) without stepping on the toes of another member.

But do request Trusted List access, as Nelda recommends.

When submitting the Unresponsive Profile Manager form, you have to agree that you have done all 3 of these things, so if you have not sent the PM a Private message and / or left a comment on the Manager's profile, do those things now.

  1. Sent a Trusted List request.
  2. Sent the manager a Private Message (a direct e-mail message is even better if you have their address).
  3. Posted a comment on the manager's profile.

In a week, if you have received no response, you can submit the Unresponsive Profile Manager form.

Make sure to explain that it is your father's profile when submitting the form.
