This is a worldwide site, it would help if you were more specific on place (ie country, state) without abbreviations, thanks. Also what time period is this in?
The information I was told is before the 1900 s. I know he was born in Whiteville North Carolina,Columbus County.  His wife's name was Nancy. I just can't find Goldberrys parents. I know there is a set of Boswell's buried on private property in that area. The property actually was owned by the Boswell family but split and sold.  If I could ever get access I think it would open up a lot of questions. Im new at all of this so bare with me. Is there a place to access maybe land records and their owners back that far?
