Looking for a Robert Peake

Hi Folks,   I'm looking for the death of Robert Peake, he lived in the Bendigo area in Victoria, Australia. His name was often mispelt. (Peek / Peak )

He was born in Scotland, in 1835

He married a Caroline Jenkins in 1857, at Bendigo, Victoria, Australia

His wife died in 1874 in Victoria, Australia.

Kangaroo Flat, Victoria, Australia

Buried in Kangaroo Flat Cemetery.

 

Perhaps information can be found for Robert there?

                          An excellent find, yes I do have that  child, but for the life of me I cannot find a death for Robert (father).

                         Caroline  died of a Puerperal fever, which is a symptom of post childbirth, its other name is Childbed Fever.. So to answer your question I believe that the birth of her child created an infection that led to her death. The child lived for several days and later died.
