Question

I am Maria Regina Rinkevicius Jakaite, I live in Venezuela. I am interested in for information on my ancestors who lived in Lithuania before WWII. 

My father was Juozas Rinkevicius, 1907-1990, Stebulai, Alytus, Lithuania, son of Mykolas Rinkevicius, and my mother was Stase (Stanislava) Rinkeviciene (Rinkevicius) born Jakaite, she was born in 1920-1992, Silale, Lithuania. Both emigrated from Germany to Venezuela in 1948, they are registered in Arolsen Archives, Lists of Emigrants, page 3897, Nr. 94,95. 

In Lithuania the the surnames end is changed, adding  -ite to their daughters, my maternal surname Jakaite comes from Jakas, and adding  -iene to their wifes, like Rinkevicius and Rinkeviciene.
