I am connected to Lon Cheney through a Handley'Kincald marriage bond.

I am also distantly related to him.  Nearest ancestor: Sir John Stewart 1st Earl o Atholl.

No, twenty degrees for me through my Ayers line.

The relationship finder also shows us as being twelfth cousins but there are no sources on the two profiles of the last ancestors so, possibly?
