Standard Acadian Last name proposal

Question

This name was not on the original list of standard Acadian last names from Stephen White. 

• White himself used three different spellings including Lemire.
• The most common spelling (both old and current) seems to be Lemire.
• Historian André-Carl Vachon’s uses Lemire. In his book Vachon, André-Carl. ''Les réfugiés et miliciens acadiens en Nouvelle-France 1755-1763,'' Tracadie, La Grande Marée, 2020 "the orphans of Pierre Lemire and Isabelle/Elisabeth Thibodeau . . ."  A niece was also spelled Lemire. (p. 263-264   See footnote 74 p. 263.)
• PRDH uses Lemire.

Per our practice, proposed standard names are posted to G2G for discussion.  Is there any discussion or concern about using Lemire as the standard last name for this Acadian family?

I randomly came across a more recent list of names from Stephen White.  In it he lists this name as Le Mire.

Reviewing the second marriage act in Port Royal, his family name is given as Le Myre in the body of the act, but he signs it Lemire.  Based on this, I would think keeping the LNAB Lemire would be a reasonable option.

OK adding Lemire to the Acadian Standard names, to be used for all members of this family at least until 1763.
