Need help with biography of notable Newfoundlander

Need help writing a biography of a notable Newfoundland politician/businessman who created the Newfoundland Natives' society. I have seen some good biographies on here, I am not the best at it. I will provide links below.

I had a go at it. I extracted a bunch of his biography from the Canadian Dictionary of biography, added some of the vital records, and links to other resources.

One of the more important bits, is the categorisation. If you add the appropriate Newfoundland Notables categories, the profile will be more visible for project members to find and improve. In this case, the correct categorisation is Newfoundland and Labrador, Politicians.

Not enough Newfoundland notables on WikiTree. I believe I am related to Barnes on my grandfather's side. I will start working a lot more on the notables!
