How do you delete a profile

I adopted this profile and believe it should be deleted. There's nothing of substance here. It's all guesses and I've added the info to the research notes of her husband's profile.

Profiles aren't deleted -- especially when they represent someone who actually existed.  Just because there is little to nothing to identify her, doesn't mean she shouldn't have a profile.
OK great, and thanks. I added a note to the profile that since the professional genealogy team put together by Ancestry.com in order to research Barak Obama's heritage couldn't find anything on her that it was ok with me if someone wanted to delete it without a discussion. That way it won't be an issue in the future.
I understand how you feel, but in another way it's better for the unknown profile to remain there with that note, because if it was created in the first place, someone with a GEDcom may wind up adding it again in the future without context.
