Why can't I add to the biography of [[Marsh-1378|William Marsh (1673-1744)]]

Question

I'm trying to add to the biography of [[Marsh-1378|William  Marsh (1673-1744)]].  I want to add a copy of an entry from his daughter's biography, Deborah (Marsh) Harlan.  The entry is about his will. When I copy the entry from Deborah's biography (including source citing) into [[Marsh-1378|William  Marsh (1673-1744)]]'s biography, the source doesn't show up in the preview.  I've run into this before with other profiles that were created some time in the past.  What am I doing wrong?

The sources header was incomplete it needed <references/> directly underneath, I altered it .
