Yes, the easiest way to see what matches there are between data on WikiTree and your own database is to export a Gedcom from Family Tree Maker and then upload it here. You will get a report with possible matches. No profiles are created at that time, and you can't even import anything until you have accepted or rejected all suggestions.
It is advisable to start with a small section of your database, with known duplicates on WikiTree. That way you can see how it works. It is really safe to just try it out. You can always delete the Gedcom again.
