Can anyone help with a marriage between Joseph Hillman and Kate Kibble circa 1882. Not sure whether in UK or USA but  lean towards USA and Philadelphia area.

I cannot find a marriage in the UK (although I did find her birth on the GRO -- saw you have that from familysearch).  I would definitely concentrate on looking for the marriage in the US.

There are a few too many Joseph Hillman births registered to know which is his, without much more information.  (Even just his mother's last name would be helpful, or a place.)
According to Gro there is only 1 in 1842 in Greenwich with MMN of Gunn but thankyou for your help. I have been looking for 20 years and only today found Kate Kibble in USA

Kate was an easy find in the GRO (knowing the year helped) :

KIBBLE, KATE     HAINES
GRO Reference: 1859  J Quarter in WESTBURY ON SEVERN  Volume 06A  Page 194

If you know he was born (or the birth was registered) in the Greenwich area, and there is only one birth registered, it would be tempting to say "'yes! this is him" — but I have had too many families that simply did not register their child's birth.  They may have had the children baptised, but registering with the civil authorities still wasn't a guaranteed thing in the 1800s.

thankyou the birth and death of Joseph and Kate ar not a problem the problem is I cannot find their marriage and the 1900 US census says they had been 18 yrs
If they were married 18 years by 1900, and she arrived in the US in 1882, they must have married almost immediately.  (One census says she arrived 1881, but the immigration record you have attached definitely says 1882 -- and that she was Kibble on entry to the US.)

So it is definitely in the US you should be looking.

.

1910 census says they were living with a daughter (Margaret) and son-in-law (William) - and it looks as though there is one grandchild (William) also listed.  If you have a date of birth for the daughter, it might help find the marriage date.
Thankyou again be there done all your suggestion this afternoon and got no where even my trailblazer from English Project could not find anything hence the request for help on here. We spent nearly 3 hours this afternoon lookiing

Thanks, Frank --that narrows it down to 1882/1883 -possibly Philadelphia, or wherever they were prior to Philly.
