What regiment was he in? US army.

I found a record for military service for a distant great uncle, in the US Army. Wondering if someone could tell me what regiment/unit he served in, and war if he was in one.

It was in 1900 so I am unsure, most I come across are WW1 or WW2.

Just scroll to the right on the image, it gives his unit, (15th Infantry, Co.K), rank, and discharge info

Thank you, I couldn't make out what it said after 15th, but after your reply I realize it was short for Infantry. What is "Co"? Commanding officer?

He was member of the K company (Co. K) of the 15th Infantry Regiment.

Thank you, so Co stands for company
